Wind Band Contest of Friuli Venezia Giulia Postponed to 2027

The board of Filarmonica “La Prime Lûs 1812” di Bertiolo aps, organiser of the International Wind Band Contest of Friuli Venezia Giulia “Silvio Zanchetta” announces that, following a decision shared with the artistic direction and the organising committee, the edition scheduled for the month of May 2026 will not take place.

The event, which represents a key reference point for musical bands at an international level, will be rescheduled for the year 2027, in order to ensure a high-quality event and offer participants a new edition featuring important innovations, which will be communicated in the coming months along with the new dates and registration procedures.

We thank the bands, directors, musicians, and enthusiasts for their understanding and ongoing support. We are confident that the wait will be rewarded with an extraordinary edition.
